THE 2010 LIVING WORKSHOP

Join a great interreligious experience!
As part of the 13th edition of the Religion Today Film Festival, which will take place from 8 to 21 October 2010 in several Italian cities (Trento, Rome, Bolzano/Bozen, Bassano, Nomadelfia with a preview in Teggiano Policastro on October 2nd), a LIVING WORKSHOP will be held.

Since 1997 Religion Today has been the first itinerant film festival dedicated to dialogue between religions. The main event is the annual film competition open to feature films, documentaries and short films on religious subjects.
As part of the overall theme “Exploring the differences”, every year the organization chooses to focus on a different perspective, and the 2010 theme will be “Journeys of Faith. Journeys of Hope”.

Alongside the competition, Religion Today organizes the "living workshop" involving people working in cinema and cinematographic experts of different faiths and nationalities, welcomed to a hostel where they spend three days including moments of reflection, time for prayer (according to the various religious groups) and mealtimes. The workshop represents an occasion of mutual understanding as well as platform for exchanging ideas and sharing projects.

This year the workshop will take place in Rome, from 18 to 20 October, with a rich program of academic study seminars, interreligious and intercultural meetings.
