Religion Today will take part in the programme for the Refugee World Day scheduled on 19-20 June in Trento in order to analyze the immigration theme and to answer these questions: who are the 40,000 plus people who have landed in Italy? And how many other people left their country in search of safety but died at sea?

Two meetings to remember victims, to inform and to raise public awareness in this regard.

On 19 June at Villa S. Ignazio, starting at 5.30 pm there will be a press conference and a meeting about refugees in the Province of Trento, followed by an inter-religious reflection on migration and religious tradition; finally, the refugees will offer a dinner.

On June 20 another event will take place at Caffè Bookique, starting at 8.00 pm, with an intercultural live performance and a concert by Luca Bassanese.
